Relaxed, Natural Wedding Photography in Portugal


My approach to wedding photography is centred around capturing the day as it genuinely happens.


Around 80% of my photography is natural and documentary, allowing you to enjoy your wedding without spending hours away from your guests posing for photographs. The remaining time is used for a small number of relaxed portraits, family photographs and those important group moments.


Your wedding day goes incredibly quickly, especially when you’ve travelled to somewhere as beautiful as Portugal and brought all of your favourite people along with you. I want you to experience it.


That means photographing the laughter during the drinks reception, the hugs you didn’t expect, the emotion during the ceremony, your guests enjoying themselves in the Portuguese sunshine and all the little moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.


Of course, we’ll still make time to take some beautiful photographs of the two of you. The Fox House and its surroundings provide an incredible backdrop, and we’ll make the most of the venue and the light without turning your wedding day into a photoshoot.

I won’t have you standing around for hours while I work through an endless list of poses. Instead, I’ll be there to document the atmosphere, emotion and energy of your day while stepping in when needed to create the photographs you’ll want to look back on for years to come.


We’ll chat before the wedding about your plans, what matters most to you and how you want the day to feel. By the time I arrive in Portugal, I’ll already understand the important parts of your celebration.
