Destination wedding photography in The Algarve, Portugal.

I'd visited Portugal on many occasions for holidays, but never to photograph a wedding. So when I was invited to capture Jenny and Adam's destination wedding in The Algarve, I was quick to accept the invitation.

The couple both began their day in separate room at the luxurious, Tivoli Marina Hotel in Villamoura, before tying the knot on a terrace over looking the Mediterranean Sea. The weather was warm, but not unmanageable for the couple and their guests. A champagne reception followed to give friends and family the opportunity to congratulate the newly weds.

After some informal group shots, we headed to the beach and around the marina for some relaxed portraits. The light was golden and delicious as the sun set in the May sky.

The couple headed back to their venue to enjoy the local food and plenty more drink and dancing.
