Shustoke Barn wedding photographer, David Boynton Wedding Photography, recently visited the venue for Jess and Chris’s big day.

The couple began proceedings at a hired mansion in Warwickshire, not too far from the venue. Jess opted for girly glamour in the upstairs master bedroom. The lads threw it together around the downstairs pool table. Other guests could lie around the swimming pool or even enjoy a game of tennis. A truly awesome place to start off your wedding day.

The groom, in his eccentric tuxedo, and his groomsmen were eventually collected and taken to the venue. Jess waited behind to share some precious moments with her close family. A few tears were shed between dad and daughter before heading to Shustoke in a chauffeur driven, classic car.

Jess and Chris had clearly gone to town with dressing their venue. The barn was covered in stunning foliage and decorative feathers. This gave the place a real Gatsby feel, adding extra wow factor to what was already a really unique wedding day.

Upon seeing Jess for the first time, Chris struggled to hold back his tears of emotion. He was utterly in awe of his new wife to be. The ceremony was perfect, and the couple’s love for each other was clear to see. It made for some gorgeous photographs too.

The newly weds and their guests were able to gather in the courtyard at Shustoke Barn, congratulating, drinking and enjoying some delicious canapes. An acoustic band provided the background music, creating the perfect vibes for everyone. There was ample time to take the bride and groom around the grounds of the venue, giving them some time alone to take everything in, and for us to get some stunning photography and video of them both.

During dinner, elected table members were in charge of carving the meat, whilst talented singing waiters entertained the guests. The food and drink was plentiful, and with guests getting merry, we were in for a crazy evening party.

Whilst waiting for evening guests, there was an opportunity for us to take some photographs under the romantic lighting, offering an added dimension to their couple portraits. The cake was cut, and former dancer, Jess, showed off her moves during their first dance. The bride and groom, along with their friends and family, continued to party late into the night.
