GRACE & JOSH – PIMHILL BARN, SHROPSHIRE
While Grace prepared herself at the venue, Josh and his groomsmen hired another location for their own beautifying. On this occasion, the amazing Danielle Victoria Photography assisted with the second shooting. She was tasked with capturing morning with the groom.
There were emotions from Father of the Bride, who shed a tear upon seeing Grace for the first time, before walking her to the barn where the couple would tie the knot.
The couple had ordained the Shropshire wedding venue with thousands of hanging fairy lights, which created a magical feel for both Grace, Josh and all of their mesmerised guests. The ceremony, as expected was perfect. Everybody was smiling from ear to ear, resulting in some really special photos. Again, the lighting produced some incredible bokeh, offering depth and drama to the images. Awesome.
Once the knot had been tied, the newly weds were congratulated outside by their friends and family. It was a relatively mild, October day. Autumn weddings are often our favourite. The colours in the trees and the fallen leaves always add an extra dimension to the wedding photography and video. We had lots of fun exploring the grounds at Pimhill, and found a variety of areas – a quirky mix of greenery and grunge. The vibrant, purple smoke bombs worked incredibly well alongside the the monotone concrete walls of the working farm.
The speeches followed the photographs, with the couple operating an open mic policy. Friends and family were able to say a few words to the happy couple. Of course there were plenty of laughs and the occasional tear too. The love shared for Grace and Josh was very clear to see.
The day was signed off with sparklers and a party to remember. It really was a pleasure to be involved in this super cool wedding. Enjoy a selection of photographs from the day below…
