SELINA & JOCKMAN – SOMERFORD HALL, STAFFORDSHIRE

Selina and Jockman, chose the classic, Georgian, country house venue, Somerford Hall, in Staffordshire as the setting for their wedding day, and took advantage of our multi-award winning photography and video services.

Preparations began in the charming bridal suite, where Selina and her fleet of bridesmaids readied themselves for the upcoming ceremony. It was a calm environment, with plenty of laughs and memories shared. The champagne would have helped to relax any last minute nerves. Jockman, along with his groomsmen and guests, waited patiently downstairs. Eagerly anticipating the appearance of the bride to be!

The ceremony took place in Somerford’s grand blue room. It’s high ceiling and ornate decor provided a classy setting for the marriage. Selina’s proud father led her down the aisle as mesmerized guests and an emotional groom looked on.

Following the formalities, guests gathered outside for photographs and refreshments. We then made creative use of the vibrant rape seed and blue bell forest as a backdrop for the couple portraits, both looked awesome on the photos and film.

The wedding breakfast and speeches concluded the daytime formalities, and with ample wine on offer, we had a good feeling about the evening party. Nearly all of the wedding party joined the bride and groom on the floor and were all keen to show off their moves. It remained that way for the duration, with a quick break for celebratory sparklers in between.

It was lovely to see some oriental traditions merged with a quintessentially British venue. The contrast made for some wonderfully quirky images and an emotionally charged wedding video. It was a true joy to be involved and we wish them well for a long happy marriage together. Please get in touch today to book our photography and videography services. Despite being located in the West Midlands, our work takes us Nationwide and overseas. We look forward to hearing from you.
